CBUAO & ECUA (Vero Beach, Florida) 3-Man Umpire Clinic

Clinic Information: The CBUAO/ECUA Clinic offers hands-on teaching and evaluation from some of the top Division 1 college baseball umpires and instructors. Camp Directors, Frank Zitaglio of East Coast Umpires and CBUAO President, Nick Zibelli have put together an outstanding group of instructors for the camp.

Clinic Instructors: College World Series veteran and CBUAO President Nick Zibelli (coordinator for 7 Division 1 conferences) will serve as the lead instructor for the camp.  The talented staff will include many of the regions top Division 1 Conference umpires, Regional umpires and College World Series Umpires.

Clinic Location: The CBUAO/ECUA Clinic will be using The Vero Beach Sports Village Complex (formerly known as Dodgertown) in Vero Beach, Florida. (http://www.vbsportsvillage.com). This location will be used for all, classroom sessions, all field drills and live game evaluations.

Clinic Itinerary:

• The most experienced teaching staff offered in the Northeast Region.
• Camp directors: Nick Zibelli (CBUAO) and Frank Zitaglio (ECUA)
• Videotaped Cage work  (Umpires are required to have plate gear & uniform)
• Field mechanics taught in classroom covering the 3-man umpire system
• Field Drills covering the 3-man umpiring system (base uniform required)
• All students will umpire & be evaluated during live baseball games.

Clinic Schedule:

• Thursday March 1^st
  4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Registration (At Vero Beach Sports Village)
  6:00 pm - 9:30 pm Classroom Session (At Vero Beach Sports Village)
• Friday March 2^nd
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Saturday March 3^rd
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Sunday March 4^th
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Monday March 5^th
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Tuesday March 6^th
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Wednesday March 7^th
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)
• Thursday March 8^th
  8:00 am – 5:00 pm: Live Game Evaluations
  12:00 pm Hotel Checkout

Clinic Cost:
Out of Town Students: Total cost is $795.00, which includes clinic, live game evaluations, hotel room and a buffet breakfast daily and lunch daily. All students will receive hotel information after deposit is received. NOTE: Tuition DOES NOT include travel accommodations.

Commuter Students: Total cost for the clinic is $450.00
