2024 ECUA/CBUAO 3-Man Umpire Camp

Clinic Information: This years Clinic offers hands-on teaching and evaluation from some of the top Division 1 college baseball umpires and instructors in the Northeast Region. Camp Directors, Frank Zitaglio of East Coast Umpires and CBUAO President, Nick Zibelli have put together an outstanding group of instructors for the camp.

Clinic Instructors: A talented staff of the region's top Division 1 umpires, Regional umpires and College World Series Umpires are slated for this years camp. 

Clinic Location: The Clinic will be using the Lasorda Legacy Park Complex (formerly Baseball heaven) in Yaphank, NY. This location will be used for all field drills and cage work. 

All Classroom sessions will be held at The Springhill Suites in Brookhaven, NY.

Clinic Itinerary:

  • The most experienced teaching staff offered in the Northeast Region.
  • Camp directors: Nick Zibelli (CBUAO) and Frank Zitaglio (ECUA)
  • Advanced Cage work (Umpires are required to have plate gear & uniform)
  • Field mechanics taught in classroom covering the 3-man umpire system
  • Rules Classroom Sessions
  • Field Drills covering the 3-man umpiring system (base uniform required)
  • All students will umpire & be evaluated during live baseball games, with on field instructors

Clinic Schedule:

  • Wednesday October 16

    12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Registration (At Lasorda Legacy Park)
    1:30 pm - 6:00 pm Field Stations & Drills
    7:30 pm - 9:30pm Classroom Session

  • Thursday October 17

    9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Cage Work (lunch included)
    7:30 pm - 9:30pm Classroom Session

  • Friday October 18
    9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Field Stations & Cage Work (lunch included)
    6:00 pm Live Game Evaluations

  • Saturday October 19

    8:00 am – 8:00 pm: Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)

  • Sunday October 20

    8:00 am – 6:00 pm: Live Game Evaluations (lunch included)

Clinic Cost:
Total cost is $495.00, which includes clinic, daily lunch & live evaluation games
**Campers will be responsible for their own lodging**

Clinic Deposit: A non-refundable $200.00 deposit is required to reserve your spot in the camp.

Balance Due: All remaining balances will be due at the October 16 registration.
